Our mission
To support both families and children in areas of educational involvement, social emotional development, nutritional services, community outreach and an all-inclusive school readiness
We firmly believe that when families are thriving as a whole then the child is successful as an individual. Collaboration is essential for building the foundation of relationships and preparedness for the future of our developing youth.
Hi there!
Meet our team
I am the bus driver, teacher aid, PE teacher, and the property maintenance man also known as "Uncle Bo". I have been a carpenter for 5 years and was previously working for a construction company before becoming a full time staff with Richmond Learning Academy for over a year now. My wife started this company with the passion and dedication to help teach and mold the little babies, and her "school babies" soon became my babies. I am here to help out Richmond Learning Academy in any way I'm needed and I will be here to be the positive, energetic spirit that the RLA kids need.

Hi! My name is Taylor. I’m the infant/toddler teacher. I have years of experience working with children of all ages and I’m currently furthering my education in early childhood development. Working with young kids is my passion. I love to watch them learn and grow. I’m a mother of 4 and in my free time I like to hang out with my kiddos or spend my time in nature. I’m happy to be apart of the RLA family and I can’t wait to work with you all!

Howdy! I’m Teacher Autumn. I traveled a long way to be in our classroom - as I’m from the snowy city of Cleveland, Ohio! I moved to Portland almost two years ago to explore a new part of our country. I have been teaching preschool and toddlers for a year and a half now. I have a bachelor's degree from Kent State University in Cultural Anthropology. In my free time, you’ll find me with my headphones in, dancing and singing, or probably cooking a hearty meal. I have two kitties at home, twin brothers Bow and Arrow who preoccupy most of my time outside of work. It has been a pleasure getting to know your kiddos these past few months and I can’t wait to help them continue to grow!
